Motivating Interviews with Inspiring People

I’m lucky to have the privilege of knowing many inspiring people. As a high achieving 20-something it is important for me to have some great mentors in my life. People I can look up to; people I can learn from; and people that ignite my inner entrepreneur.

Although these individuals may not be in their 20s now, what they did in their 20s was the stepping stones to the path of their success. What I want to do is discover what the 20-something model for success is. And of course I’m willing to share!

How can you meet inspiring people?

My goal is to interview these people to help me develop a list of life goals for 20-somethings.

There are lots of inspiration people on the web such as Leo Babauta and Steve Pavlina. If you’re looking for someone close to home that could be simple depending what’s going on in your life right now. If you find that difficult I suggest that you start attending workshops or seminars on topics that interest you.

The following are my interviews with some of the most creative and driven people I know. They’re already super successful in their given field so they will be able to supply us with the best career tips for 20-somethings.

Lisa Berry spoke at one of my "lunch and learn" seminars at work which is in Toronto, Ontario. The first thing you’ll notice about Lisa is how attractive and well put together she seems. The second thing is how energetic and honest her personality is. Someone that speaks with high energy is truly passionate about their business. In her case it’s spreading the word about nutritious eating and life coaching others in the direction to following their dreams.

I got to know Lisa a bit better after exchanging a few emails back in June 2010. And lucky for me she agreed to answer a few questions I was dying know about.

jonathan thomas Jonathan Thomas and I met in Value Exchange, which is a link building strategy from Site Build It!. We hit it off right away because we both share a life-long journey of battling our waist line. Jonathan introduced me to what he calls the food matrix, and I couldn’t agree with him more. We both have a passion to tell our story and share our knowledge with others through creating our own website.

Check out my interview with Jonathan to learn more about how to beat our food habits that we have been brainwashed to follow for years.

I came across Steve Roy’s website Ending the Grind after he guest posted on another site. Ending the Grind is about one man’s quest to break free from the hamster wheel of life.

It’s no secret Steve hates his job- as do many other people out there, but it’s his sense of humour and saying what most of us only think is what got me hooked. What truly amazes me is how this father of two who works full-time and is a personal trainer on the side finds time to work on his blog!

In my opinion, Ending the Grind is a website you should keep your eyes on because it’s going to hit success.
